Support Us
Would you like to make a difference for the community? Find out about volunteering at The Lymington Community Centre.
Why volunteer?
We have a wide range of volunteering opportunities, whether you want to make new friends, develop new skills or give something back to your local area. You can support us, and make a difference to the lives of local people, by doing anything from helping out in our cafe, cinema / theatre, maintaining our gardens, helping out with centre maintenance or distributing LCA information. However you’d like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you.
Volunteer in our Cafe /Bar
Serving food and drinks to customers, Cash Handling
Gaining new, or polishing off Customer Service skills
Volunteer in the Gardens
Do you have a keen eye for gardening? We take great pride in looking after our garden and keeping everything looking beautiful for our centre users. We need your help to get involved and to help keep our garden areas looking fabulous for everyone to enjoy.
Volunteer as a Handy Man
We desperately need skilled or unskilled volunteers to help out with various tasks such as painting, electrics, plumbing and basic DIY.
Volunteer in the Cinema/Theatre
Working with a group of cinema enthusiast, you could make a difference by helping out as a projectionist, an usher, or even selling cinema tickets and manning our centre bar in the evenings.
Volunteer in Tidal Boutique
We have a wonderful boutique selling pre loved clothing and accessories. Sort donations, sell clothes, dress mannequins and meet new people!
Legacy
A gift in your Will can change lives far beyond your lifetime.
Here at the Community Centre we are a registered Chairty and therefore fundraising is important to help us continue to provide our wonderful services and Community building for years to come.
By leaving even a small percentage of your estate, you can help ensure that vital work continues for generations to come right here in Lymington. It’s a powerful way to stand for what matters most to you.
Your legacy isn’t just what you leave behind - it’s the difference you make.
