Neurodiversity Talk with Mel Sims
Tuesday 28th April , 7pm - 8:30pm
As part of the Celebration Week at the Lymington Community Centre we are pleased to work in conjunction with Mel Sims from Lymington to put on an event to promote Neurodiversity Incl ADHD, Autism (incl Asperger’s), Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Discalculia and Disgraphia and Tourette’s. Mel is hosting an event talking about Neurodiversity and is very much look forward to talking sharing her experiences.
Mel Sims is an ICF Certified Associate Coach with high levels of Intuition and a Friendly Non-Judgemental Style. Diagnosed with ADHD at 48, she understands the grief of discovering how different life could have been for those who fell under the radar. She is passionate about helping Adults and Young people think more positively about themselves and loving their Neurodiverse brain, with or without diagnosis.
Mel coaches people to notice and break these unhealthy Neurological patterns, so clients can realise their full potential and make their insides and outsides match. Mel reminds us how the mind and body are connected after 3 Burn Outs due to emotional overwhelm; starting at school and then in a high powered Advertising career, leading to walking away and becoming an Entrepreneur.
She encourages people to live authentically, find their tribe, ask for what they need, drop the Mask and stop pretending to like what doesn’t suit them.
