A new generation of community activity, social business and transparency
The Foundation brings accountability and creativity in engaging people who are keen to help Lymington and matching them with areas of genuine concern and needs such as our targeted local issues and community projects.
This is done in a manner that improves, develops and supports the many diverse charities, voluntary and community organisations within the Lymington area and aids the regeneration of social, educational and environmental sustainability.
Lymington Foundation is fundamentally different from a normal commercial company. For both the initial Foundation team and all the benefactors past, present and in the future there has been an overwhelming need to ensure that assets, donations and legacies to the community are truly ring fenced and held “by the community for the community” with as wide a consensus and advisory membership base as possible.
