Lymington LaunchPad is bringing the excitement
and engagement with the World Steam Speed Record Breaking Team to expand the depth and engagement
with cross-curricular subjects including science, drama, literacy and
enterprise. - Lymington Foundation's association with Don Wales and his attempt at breaking World and British Speed Records provides an engaging educational context for Lymington students at school, college and university.
- The latest project to be funded is the R&D by Ballard School students for a parachute prototype design for slowing the next record breaking attempt.
